IPhone Apps Week #2

Okay back for another week my iPhone Apps:

Hotel Sorrento

Last night I had the pleasure of watching our schools year 12 drama production, "Hotel Sorrento". I took Michael and Jamie and we all had a great time. The students' acting was fantastic and the direction of the play was just as good. It was a good story and very intriguing how the story unfolded.

Mums Birthday

Well Saturday was my dear old mums birthday and she was 64. Which is a very significant nerdy number. She could tell people she is running a 64-bit OS - Ha! that would be funny, or as the young folk say these days lol.

We wok up and decided to watch the latest Lost, which was very good. The phone rang and it was my Dad reminding us that it was mums birthday yesterday. As you can tell, we forgot. Anyway we finished up with lost and drove straight over with the pressie we bought and a card. We thought it would be nice to go out for lunch and I suggested Mindarie.

So we headed out and ended up having a nice fish fish and chops at The Boat. The beer was nice to, I had an Indian White and an Indian Pilsner. Though I managed to spill most of the white on my mums dinner, it still was good.

We then ducked around to the Dome Cafe for a coffee and cake.

It was a nice day and I hope my mum enjoyed it to.

Battlestar Galactica is over!! :(

Yesterday I managed to watch the last ever bsg. It was a great episode and it made sure all questions got answered. It also left some nice ambiguity.

Please if you have never watched this show get the DVDs and watch it. It is one of the best tv shows ever. I have heard that a blueray box set is on the way also.

I will post a spoiler full entry soon. So though that have watched it can see what I think.

It is going to be hard to not have bsg in my life no more. Now the wait is on for Doctor Who to fill the scifi void. Though I think Torchwood maybe back first.

Curry night at Brit and Toms

Last night we went to Brit and Toms for a curry night. I made the fish curry that Robyn got the recipe for. It is very nice and you can get it here.

We had a few beers including the Hobgoblin that Pete got me for my birthday. It went down very well with the curry.

After Chris and I broke into Pete's house and stayed the night. We were very quiet and Pete did even know we were there. I did have turn of his alarm at 5:45am because he just seemed to sleep through it. In the morning we got ready and snuck out before he woke up. We did leave him a present in his fridge for the trouble, though. Thanks Pete.

We then headed off to Leederville and enjoyed breaky at a nice cafe. Chris had fruit salad and I had the Italian omelette which was very nice.

After we headed to Harbour Town and got some bargains. I now have all the work clothes I need for winter.

What a nice day.

18" Hellboy

It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and after receiving some money from my parents I thought it was time to finally get the 18" Hellboy figure that I have eyed of for a couple of years.

It arrived this week and I am very impressed. It is huge, so huge in fact that it does not fit on my display shelf that I built to house all of my toys. Unfortunately it now has its own shelf space in my lounge.

Here are some more pics;

Thought I'd add another

Yes this is being written on my iPhone. Now I can add anywhere!

Talk soon.

Back using this blog

Well after many failed attempts at using Rapidweaver for creating my blog I have decided to switch back here. The reasons being:

1. Rapidweaver keeps loosing my blog entries.
2. I can add blog entries anywhere - even on my iPhone
3. This blog is easier to find in a Google search
